Accommodations

  • Colorado Springs is at 6000ft elevation. Our venue is at 7200ft. Hydrating before and during your trip can mitigate altitude sickness.

    Overexertion during exercise can worsen altitude sickness. Be aware that effects of alcohol are also increased at higher elevations.

  • Colorado summers are mild, low humidity, and sunny. A short afternoon thunderstorm is common.

    The sun is more intense at high elevation - pack sunscreen and sunglasses!

    The evenings can be chilly, even in August.

  • Our Accommodations & Shuttle page outlines the pros and cons of flying to DEN or COS airports.

  • We have two hotel blocks in downtown Colorado Springs linked on our Accommodations & Shuttle page. These blocks have a locked-in low price for our guests to take advantage of. There are plenty of other hotels within walking distance to our blocks that you could stay at and still take advantage of our shuttles.

    If you are renting / bringing a car, there are countless AirBnB / VRBO / hotel options in Colorado Springs.

    There is also plenty of free parking at the venue - but NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IS ALLOWED.

    You will NOT BE ABLE TO Uber or Lyft to / from the venue.

  • Downtown Colorado Springs is small, about 1 square mile. It’s surrounded by multiple parks with stunning mountain views. There are countless restaurants, bars, shops, and museums to visit - all within a quick walk or free bus ride!

Wedding Logistics

  • Our ceremony is fully outdoors. Our cocktail hour and reception are indoors, with an outdoor patio dance floor.

    If there is inclement weather, all festivities will be moved fully indoors.

  • Cocktail Attire!

  • Yes! Our afterparty will be at Louie Louie's Piano Bar, 1 block away from Springhill Suites. There is a $10 cover.

  • Your invitation will clearly state every person/guest that is invited. Unfortunately, we can only accommodate invited guests.

Menu / Dietary Restrictions

  • Our cocktail hour will have a variety of small hors d'oeuvres including a vegetarian option.

    The plated dinner will have an entree choice of chicken or steak. It will come with a side of gouda mac and cheese and roasted vegetables.

  • Yes - we will ask for any dietary restrictions / allergies during the RSVP process. Our caterer can provide alternatives as necessary.

  • Yes!!!!!!! Beer, wine, and cocktails are fully covered for the evening.

Welcome Event

  • At our Thursday evening welcome event, we will provide beer, wine, and light dessert. Cocktails are available for purchase.

  • We kindly ask that you only attend if you are traveling from outside Colorado Springs. Our intention for our welcome event is to spend extra quality time with our friends and family that we do not get to see very often!

  • You do not have to feel obligated to come to the welcome event if you RSVP “Yes” to our wedding.
